    How to Use

Click the clock icon in your browser toolbar. The popup shows your home time zone at the top in a large flip-clock display, followed by your saved destinations below.

    Adding a destination

    1. Click "+ Add Destination".
    2. Type a city name, country name or keyword in the search box.
    3. Click the city you want from the results list.
    4. The destination is saved and appears immediately.

    Removing a destination

Hover over any destination card and click the × button on the right side. The city is removed instantly.

    Understanding the status badges

Each destination shows a colour-coded badge indicating the current period:

    • ● Office Hours - between 09:00 and 17:00 local time
    • ● Early / Evening - between 06:00–09:00 or 17:00–21:00
    • ● Morning - between 05:00 and 06:00
    • ● Night - between 21:00 and 05:00

    Troubleshooting

The extension icon doesn't appear after installation

Chrome/Edge: Click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions menu) in the toolbar, find "World Clock" in the list and click the pin icon next to it. Firefox: Right-click the toolbar, choose "Customise Toolbar" and drag the World Clock icon to your preferred position. Opera: The icon should appear automatically; if not, go to opera://extensions and make sure the extension is enabled.

    Country flags are not loading

Flag images are loaded from flagcdn.com. If they don't appear, check whether your network, firewall or ad blocker is blocking requests to that domain. Try temporarily disabling your ad blocker for the extension popup. The extension works fully without flags — they are purely decorative.

    The time shown seems wrong

The extension uses your computer's system clock and your browser's IANA timezone database. If the time appears incorrect, check that your computer's date, time and timezone settings are correct. Daylight saving transitions are handled automatically - if a country recently changed its DST rules, updating your browser to the latest version will pull in the newest timezone data.

    My saved destinations disappeared

Destinations are stored in your browser's local extension storage. They can be lost if you clear all browser data (including extension data), reinstall the extension, or reset your browser profile. Unfortunately there is no way to recover lost destinations - you'll need to re-add them. We are considering a sync or export feature for a future version.

The popup is too small or cut off

The popup is designed at 420 pixels wide. If it appears cropped or scaled oddly, check that your browser zoom level is set to 100% (press Ctrl+0 or Cmd+0 to reset). Some operating system display scaling settings can also affect popup rendering.

    I can't find a specific city

The extension includes 100+ pre-loaded cities. If your destination isn't listed, try searching by country name instead. If you still can't find it, let us know and we'll consider adding it in the next update.

    Uninstalling

    To remove the extension:

    • Chrome/Edge: Right-click the extension icon → "Remove from Chrome" (or "Remove from Edge").
    • Firefox: Right-click the icon → "Remove Extension".
    • Opera: Right-click the icon → "Remove from Opera".
    • Whale: Right-click the icon → "Remove extension".

All locally stored data (your saved destinations) is removed automatically when you uninstall. No data remains on your device or any server.
