The Route from Ipswich to Heathrow

Two main road families carry the journey: the A14 and M11 corridor heading south west out of Suffolk, then the M25 and M4 for the final approach into Heathrow. Both sections are covered in more detail below.

There is very little to see on this final stretch beyond motorway barriers, perimeter fencing, and airport hoardings, which suits most passengers checking travel documents or finishing a work call before arrival at the terminal building.
